The view of the canyon walls looking up from the river were awsome. Sure glad I didn't have to hike down and then climb back out. Whew! horible thought.

There is a dam on the gunnison down at the end of the road. It has a power plant, but I didn't see any power lines.












This little short dam about a half mile downstream from the big dam creates a nice fishing lake.
