This is the only mountain that I saw in Colorado that stands alone.











As you exit Independence Pass on the west end you come into Aspen, the famous ski town. That is one of the ski slopes on that mountain.










On the pass, all of the view are magnificent, and none of the road edges are guarded. I took this picture of one that wasn't too steep. I like the camera in my pocket and not my hand when they are straight down.
